Wet Brush Shine Enhancer CORE PRO by Wet Brush
The brush I recommend is the Wet Brush Pro Shine Enhancer. This is different from the Wet Brush Shine Enhancer. While they look similar, the latter has a very stiff rubber pad and bristles, making it painful to use. Be sure to choose the model labeled “Pro Shine Enhancer”
The Pro's flexible bristles are gentler on hair, reducing damage and protecting against split ends. To maintain your hair’s natural oils, avoid over-washing.
If your hair feels unclean between washes, (optional: spray rosewater on your scalp and) brush starting from the ends, gradually working upward. The natural boar bristles effectively distribute scalp oils to the ends, leaving your hair shiny and smooth.
Hair brushes can accumulate dirt, oil, and grease over time, often appearing as gray lint around the base of the bristles. To clean your brush, remove the bristle pad (it might take a little bit of elbow grease) and place it in a mesh laundry bag. Wash it in warm water on a gentle cycle to avoid damage to the brush or other fabrics.
I keep three brushes in rotation: one in use, one in the hamper ready to be washed, and one clean and ready to go. This way, I always have a fresh brush on hand.
